This little freebie is something I use all year long when we use a video during a lesson. I originally made it to go with science videos like Magic School Bus and it has come in very handy. My video log prints two on a page and they are just right for gluing in the interactive notebooks.
One of my most successful lessons that start with a math book is my introduction to division. I absolutely love "The Doorbell Rang" by Pat Hutchins. Not only do my students like the book they absolutely love acting it out as I read. This particular freebie is one I use every year in my third grade classroom. The awesome thing is that it works for any grade - when I taught kindergarten I also used it every year. Click the picture to go this free product.
Hello Friends! I was recently looking at some of my old blog posts from my first year of blogging (2012) and realized that I had forgotten about some of the freebies I have posted over the year. It got me thinking about going through and checking out some of them. That led me to planning a throwback Thursday (TBT) series that focuses on freebies. This is the first of what I hope will be weekly series for a while.
Since it is supposedly winter (we have had record breaking high temps here in Florida!) I'm going to start with "Place Value in the Snow." This is available in my TPT store and you can go directly to it by clicking the picture.
